Have you ever felt or made a plan or declaration to do better, be better, get your spiritual life and relationship with Christ in order? Then Monday morning shows up - kids are acting a nut; traffic is trying your already thin patience; bill collectors are harassing you; your coworkers or boss act like complete idiots; so now you're at your wits end. But just yesterday or the day before you made the decision to trust God more. Allow Him to be the center of your life. But the H. R. Department could be two seconds away from giving you discharge papers if you go completely off like you want to. Don't fall into the trap, though. Colossians 1:13-14 states "For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." God knows we're not perfect and He doesn't require us to be. We can take a physical and spiritual deep breath, ask God for strength not to lose focus. God won't give up on us so we shouldn't give up on ourselves. Tuesday just might be a better day for us.
