Hello, my name is Khara and I am addicted to Candy Crush

If you haven't heard - "Candy Crush" is the new game craze.  Someone introduced it to me a few months ago and I quickly became addicted.  It's a game of strategy, so as you advance to each level it definitely works your problem solving skills.  Plus, there was a study about word games and strategy games boosting memory, etc, etc.  As you advance to another level the game its harder.  I am so into this game that I've stayed up late (kicking myself in the morning) just to beat a level.  I've even prayed to God to beat a level - you know I'm in deep when I start praying to beat a game. I may need a patch for this.

Not to start a bad habit with you, but if you are interested in this game, it's free, and you can search it on your phone or tablet's App store.  Or go here:

I Just Called to Say I Love You

My husband called me today just to tell me "I love you" with no strings attached, no needed favors, no buttering me up for something, but simply to let me know "I love you."  And it came at the perfect time and brought a huge smile to my face.  My husband and I are not the touchy-feely type of couple, we don't always openly display our affection to each other in public, but affection is definitely there - otherwise being married for almost 11 years would be boring.  We need the love and affection to balance out the "crazy" we both dish out to each other sometimes - he more so than I (LOL).  But I love him and it's always great to hear and see that he loves me back.

My Spring Time Fashion "Must haves"

I'm not a fashion expert, but I do like to look nice and put together and with Spring finally making it's presence known here in Southern Maryland, I wanted to share some of my Spring time fashion "must haves".

1. Lightweight, colorful Spring scarfs.  I love this accessory because it can easily dress up a t-shirt.  Pair it with a cardigan and a nice skirt or jeans and you're good to go.

Kiss "Stick-On" strips review

I love the new gel manicures but they are super duper expensive (to me at least).  I get them done for about $35-40 and they last me an average of three weeks, so that's not bad.  But I wanted to find a cheaper alternative and I found these at Dollar General for $3 - Kiss "Stick-On" strips.  I was very skeptical so I only bought one which are the black and white you see below.  They are pretty easy to put on and you don't have to apply anything on top - which I love.  "Simple is as simple does" in my book.  I instantly fell in love with them after I applied them on.  I have gotten so many compliments for my simple manicure that I went back to Dollar General and got two more stips.  These are my new favorite thing that I had to share.

I've had these on now for 9 days now and I am still receiving a lot of compliments.  The pack says it lasts for 10 days but it looks like I may be able to go even longer than that - LOVE IT!  I must also add that I have washed my hair, my daughters hair, washed dishes etc etc and these strips have stayed put like you see above.

I can't wait to try these ones next.
